The Native American spirit soars from the works of Mary E. Stephens. The water colors depict her understanding of the folklore of her own Native American heritage. What she has captured on parchment is well worth art lovers' attention. Century Publishing Company is proud to introduce the series of six as her first published limited edition. Collectors will want all six of this "first" which promises to become more and more desirable as other series are introduced.

"When you discover an artist who captures her heritage in such vivid color, and your discerning eye knows the potential, you want to introduce this artist to serious collectors everywhere."

Oklahoma, the artist's birthplace, created an early fascination for the history of the state. The wildlife, Native American heritage and bold pioneers have been the subject of her paintings and bronze sculptures during her 30 years of creativity. She maintains a studio in Wichita Falls, Texas. Her exhibitions span the country from California to Boston. Her favorite shows and repeat performances tend to reflect her home territory, Texas and Oklahoma.

Ms. Stephen's background includes the study of fine arts at East Central and Northern Oklahoma College.
